This payment page is intended for youthful candidates only! This applies to all exam candidates who have not yet reached their eighteenth birthdays.
The GCARC VE Team requests that exam candidates pre-pay the exam fee at the time of registration for the exam. If you have not already registered, please take a minute now to go to our Register at hamstudy.org page to select and register for an exam session. Then, return to this page to make the payment for the exam.
Those exam candidates who have not yet reached their eighteenth birthdays are encouraged to take advantage of the ARRL Youth License Grant Program which will assist youthful applicants financially. This program is intended to offset the licensing costs for those individuals who meet the ARRL program requirements. Go to our ARRL Youth License Grant Program page for more information about this program.
Those requirements are separate from and unrelated, however, to another ARRL program that provides for a reduced license exam fee for youthful candidates. Under this second program, license exam candidates taking an exam at a session sanctioned by ARRL will pay a reduced exam fee of only five dollars. Use the tool below to make a PayPal payment for such an exam candidate. Be sure to enter both the candidate’s name and the ExamTools PIN that was provided at the time of test registration.

In the event of a lack of a valid debit or credit card with which to make the payment, a cash payment may be accepted at the test site at the time of your exam. This is a last-resort means of payment, however, and the PayPal payment is the preferred method of payment.
