Chris Prioli – AD2CS – WRVB352 <\/em><\/strong><\/td>| Team Leader and ARRL Liaison<\/em><\/strong><\/td><\/tr> | Chris has been a ham only a short while, taking all three license exams and earning his Amateur Extra license on 18 August 2021. He currently serves as the GCARC VE Team Liaison and Team Leader. While having a life-long interest in electronics and having been hobbying in that arena for many years, Chris, now retired, has spent his adult life working in the Trucking Industry. There, he has held positions at various levels up to and including executive positions. Chris is the father of two and the step-father of five, all of whom are grown and on their own. He is also now the grandfather of eleven, some of whom are also grown and on their own. He is an avid electronics enthusiast, a prolific writer, an active life member of GCARC, and he maintains a personal electronics website at www.ad2cs.com<\/a>. While he\u2019s spent decades navigating the world of code, his real passion lies in the “how things work” side of life\u2014whether that\u2019s digital, mechanical, or celestial. | He is a tinkerer whose hobbies often involve a mix of hardware and software. His workbench is usually occupied by a rotating cast of projects involving digital fabrication in the form of 3D printing and laser engraving, music and technology as related to synthesizers and hobby electronics, retro computing involving exploring and maintaining vintage hardware, and the physical world, comprising his activities in programming, astronomy, and the technical side of radio. Though you won’t often find him active on the airwaves, Mike has maintained a steady progression in the amateur radio world since 2000. He moved from Technician to General in 2010 and earned his Amateur Extra license in 2022. He contributes to the hobby primarily through the organizational and educational side, as a GCARC VE, as a GCARF board member, as a STEM Club advisor, and through his membership in ARRL.<\/em><\/td> ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/veteam.w2mmd.org\/wpve\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/KG4JYA-headshot.jpg\") <\/td><\/tr>Joe Gadoury – N2JJG<\/em><\/strong><\/td> | Team Member<\/em><\/strong><\/td><\/tr> | Joe has been a ham for just a few short years, first earning his Technician-class license in December 2022 and finally upgrading to the Amateur Extra level eleven months later, in November 2023, thanks in part to Chris AD2CS and the excellent GCARC license upgrade classes. | Joe’s interest in Ham Radio includes Parks on the Air (POTA), 13 Colonies, and both Winter and Summer Field Day event participation. He currently belongs to two clubs, GCARC and Burlington County Radio Club (BCRC), and serves as treasurer for BCRC along with being their POTA chair. His other activities include belonging to two Community Emergency Response Teams, Burlington County CERT and Pinelands CERT. Ham radio has been useful with the CERT teams during events and disaster relief operations. He is a former paramedic with 35 years of experience and 41 years overall as an EMT, having taught the paramedic program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from 2000 to 2023.
